Legal Forms to do Your Own Divorce

Getting a divorce is complicated. However, in many cases, several parts of the process are routine and can be handled by a lay person without the intervention of an attorney.

This page provides links to both paper forms used by the court and in the typical mediation process and Online Divorce Forms.

The online form service allows the consumer to fill out information about their own case, proceed through a series of questions, and then the program will generate the requested form for a nominal fee paid by credit card.

Adding your case information to our databse and associating it to your secret username and password is free. If and when you need to generate a legal form, you LOG ON, select the form, pay the nominal fee by credit card, and your completed form is prepared in printer friendly format.

The online form systems seeks a balance between saving money and getting proper legal advice:
  • Entering your case information and setting up a user account to retrieve it is free;
  • You never need to re-enter your case information;
  • You generate only the legal forms you need a la carte;
  • The pricing structure is set so that the cost of most forms is about what you would pay to speak with your attorney for 15 minutes.

This service is not a substitute for an attorney, nor can you consider the use of forms as legal advice. However, in many instances you can save a considerable amount of money by using your attorney for critical parts of your case, and doing the routine parts on your own.
