Soccer Clubs, Vendors of Products, Law Offices, People who like dogs, you name it. Each
group is the market that most companies already target in their promotions.
So for example, if you were
a soccer team, or a soccer club, or a soccer association you have a UserNicheTM
of 15 members, 500 members or 5000 members respectively.
If you were the "association", you would buy 5000 member licenses and
be able to create as many soccer club web sites and team web sites as you like up to the 5000 member limit, with each
sub niche having rights to create and modify their web content and their user information. You can pass your $2 per
member license cost directly onto the members themselves, register online, notify ALL members by email, post game schedules
and results, sell Logo items, etc., etc.
The same applies whether you sell a product where you have prospects, you are a Law firm with clients, or
a group of dog enthusists. They are all looking for information and people will pay for it if
the niche information is valuable to them.
Information can be organized into many different virtual objects. In the Law Office example3, each "client" could have
his or her own "website", requiring a username/password to access, where documents are uploaded, summary reports
are displayed as web pages, if multiple cases, there could be "Documents" of multiple Web Pages where each document
represents a case. Areas of Practice, for example could be dynamically changed at any time. With this, all navigation is
automatically created for you. Attorney Profiles could be updated at any time and pictures can be uploaded from
your hard drive and automatically resized to fit the correct dimentions for the picture of the attorney on their profile page.
There are things you can do that you might not even consdier possible right now.
Things like:
- Sending an email invoice to all clients with current balances so they can pay online via VISA/MC or Echeck, even if you do not have a merchant's account.
- Automatically creating a list of future "Events" (based on the case "TYPE") that appear within the "Client's"
website in a chronological tickler list that can be linked to "Documents" and updated with
changes in status and work progress.
- Automatic "Notifications" appear in the respective "website" of the client when specified changes in a database occur,
like an "Event" of the "TYPE" = "Court Appearance" that is less than 10 days from "NOW", causing a listing in
the "Notifications" and based upon the settings in the "Clients" "Preferences", a email notice periodically sent until
the "Notice" is marked "Done" or the date passes
- Automatic "Notifications" sent to a central "Attorney" website, showing all Statute of Limitations Dates less than 10
days from NOW.
- Sending electronic birthday cards to clients automatically
- Creation of an online newsletter and e-mailing it or a link to it, to all clients each month.
- Based upon a change in the database causing a notification to issue, and email to issue and using a 3rd party service,
automatically "telephone" the client and say the content of a text string like "This is the
computer messenger from Jones, Smith & Doe calling to leave an important message for Bill Green.
Bill Green has received urgent notification from attorney
Susan Lawyer. Please log on and review this notification or call the office at 777 555 5555. Thank You."
Keep in mind this is a custom website, so initially, we set up the web site for you3 and create the
default settings.
We set up the various virtual objects and their relationship to each other. Thereafter, you can
change any of the content, add, or delete content and modify any of the settings, including any of the virtual objects
or their relationship to each other. In the event you make a mistake, you can always revert to your default settings,
losing nothing.
In reality, most businesses or groups perform the same activities, tasks and functions, called different things, for different
groups of people.
Conceptually, all of these are the same, and can be serviced by the same virtual objects with the convenience
of industry specific names. Rather than each business or group, having features independantly developed for them, in
effect each paying for the re-creation of the wheel, we organize the information by functions and methods, assign
their relationships to each other and their "Name Labels" as commonly used in the industry.
Even if you want to add new services or features not presently available, we will do so for you. However, to the
extent that we can determine that this new object or method is useful and valuable to other customers, you would not
pay for the cost of development of the reused portion. So in effect you only ever
pay the marginal cost of the variations for your project and the rental fee on the underlying applications. Not only
does this system keep your initial capital outlay low, it is the most efficient long term way to finance the
long term costs of ongoing technology changes for eveyone concerned.
